    When I’ve tried take ACV daily in the past, it tends to upset my stomach. Not terribly, but just enough to discourage me from taking it. A friend recently mentioned, ‘what if that means it’s getting rid of the bad bacteria?’. I told her I’d look into it. What do you make of that? I want to take ACV daily, but is there something I can do to help it settle better in my stomach or should I just put up with it knowing it’s working great benefits for me?

    1. Try building up to 2 tablespoons daily. Start with 1 tablespoon combined with clean filtered water. The trick is to keep the sugar low. Add organic stevia instead, if you need it to be sweetened. Adding sugar, honey or maple syrup should be kept at minimum as that will feed bad bacteria.     2. Jason, I always wanted to try and could never tolerate the smell. Someone mentioned taking with 8 oz of grapefruit juice. Seeing how I try daily to stay keto and watch my sugars etc., I drink 1 TBLS of ACV with 8 oz of ruby red 5 (5calories). I have been doing it everyday now for 2 weeks and it doesn’t bother me at all.   26. I’m concerned that you mentioned that adding honey will “feed bacteria” and to keep the honey content low for that reason. Science says different (trust me, I’m in the field of microbiology). Honey is antimicrobial with the exception of C. botulinum spores that only affect newborns or babies under the age of 1 (2 to be safe). Honey is the oldest antibiotic and is actually effective in killing resistant strains of bacteria including a 63%success rate in killing MRSA.

    Dont make claims if you don’t know science. I also suggest linking peer-reviewed articles supporting the myriad claims you have suggested. I love apple cider vinegar and I feel great taking it but I don’t make wild claims that it cures or stunts cancer. There is not real evidence supporting that.
